Self-care is important because your physical and mental health is important. Dental care isn't often…
Should You Bring Your Electric Toothbrush?

Taking good care of your teeth is important to keep them in top shape, even when you’re traveling! When you travel, should you bring your electric toothbrush or opt for a smaller one? Here’s how to decide which toothbrush to pack in your travel kit.
Travel Dental Care
When you’re away from home, it can be easy for routine things like dental care to slip your mind. But it’s important to take good care of your teeth, even when you’re on the road. Plaque and tartar buildup don’t take a vacation, so we can’t take a vacation from practicing good dental hygiene!
It can be difficult to decide what to pack and what to leave at home, though. Should you bring your electric toothbrush or get one of those cute little travel toothbrushes that can fit in your pocket or purse? Here’s what we think.
Benefits of an Electric Toothbrush
First of all, let’s talk about the benefits of using an electric toothbrush. Studies show that people who regularly use an electric toothbrush keep their natural teeth healthier for longer. Electric toothbrushes also have many built-in added features like pressure sensors, timers, and the capability to connect with smartphone apps to track your dental care habits in real-time.
With so many advantages, it’s easy to see why it’s worth it to bring your electric toothbrush when you travel!
Packing Your Travel Kit
Our answer to the question, “Should you bring your electric toothbrush?” might surprise you because we’d say, “Bring both!”
Your electric toothbrush can be helpful to have with you when you arrive at your destination or any time you have the opportunity to stop and unpack. A small travel toothbrush can be beneficial for other situations when you might only have the chance to grab your purse or shoulder bag and step into a bathroom for a couple of minutes to brush your teeth. So, why not pack both? That way, your teeth can get the best care wherever you happen to be!
