Most of our client base comes to us as some type of referral, either by word of mouth or by generational succession in families. It is one distinctive element of who we are and we think it speaks volumes about the level of care and satisfaction we aim for in each patient interaction.
Family Practice with a Clear Purpose
Dr. James Cooper started this practice in 1977. His son, Dr. Jordan Cooper now works alongside him in a complementary role as partner in the practice. Together they are able to offer a broader range of care to our patients than on their own. Their practice philosophies also are in full alignment: to provide the best dental experience for our patients through personable care and to improve your quality of life as a patient.
Relationship-Oriented Care
We take pride in the enduring relationship we have with our patients and their families. Many of our patients are multi-generational families, in that we not only treat one generation of a family, but rather two or three generations. Dr. James Cooper has a long-standing tradition of patient care, knowing all his patients by name. If you’re seen by one of our dentists and have had a difficult case, we’ll call and follow up with you to see how you’re doing. We do this because we truly care about your well-being, and because relationships are very important to us. We want to provide a level of care that is unmatched for our patients.
Gentle and Kind Approach to Care
We are known for not only providing the best possible level of care, but also in employing a gentle and kind approach in our procedures. All of our dental hygienists in particular are very gentle with their patients. New patients leave their initial cleaning saying, “that is the best cleaning I have ever had!” We want you to be able to relax during your procedures and are committed to your comfort and ease.

Dr. Jordan Cooper is from Jacksonville, AR. His father is Dr. James Cooper, a Jonesboro, AR native and practicing dentist of 39 years and his mother, Tracy Cooper, is a dental hygienist from Little Rock. Dr. Cooper graduated high school from Central Arkansas Christian, after which he entered at the University of Arkansas as a Chancellor’s Scholar in 1998.
Dr. David Cole is a graduate from the University of Arkansas, receiving his degree in 2016, and is a huge Razorback fan! He then went to dental school at the University of Tennessee where he received his D.D.S. in 2021. He looks forward to getting to know the Central Arkansas area, and serving his community!
Dr. Rasmussen is a Hot Springs native who graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in 2017 (Go Bears). After receiving his D.D.S from The University of Tennessee in 2021, he is looking forward to serving the central Arkansas community and the wonderful people who live here.
Dr. James Cooper was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He studied at the University of New Mexico and graduated from dental school from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. After 2 years of dental experience with the Army, Dr. Cooper moved to Jacksonville in 1973 to practice dentistry.
