Ashlee Kulsa graduated from Cabot High School in 2011; she then attended Arkansas State University before graduating from Arkansas School of Dental Assisting in 2014. She enjoys spending time with her family, going to her little brothers Panther football games & deer hunting with her husband, Robert, who she married in September of 2014! She has worked in our front office as a receptionist since March of 2014 and can also work as a Registered Dental Assistant. She loves White Chocolate Mochas and Christmas time. Ashlee will be one of the ladies greeting you at the front desk!


Carolyn Porter has been Dr. James Cooper’s dental assistant since December 1989. She has been married to her husband, Eddie, her true love and best friend, since 1974. She has 2 children, Jeff who is an Officer for the National Air Guard and Allison Ramsey, who works for the Arkansas Federal Credit Union. Carolyn loves her work, her patients, cruising, scrapbooking, and The Lord! She has worked with her sister, Marilyn Vann, since 1990. Marilyn is the Office Manager at Cooper Family Dentistry. They married best friends, how cool is that! She had her first grandbaby girl, Olivia Kay Porter on Mother’s Day, May 11, 2014. Life is grand!


Crystal Besancon was born in Flint, MI, but was raised in Jacksonville, AR. She got married to Josh in June of 2010. She loves to hang out with her family and friends. She also loves to travel in her free time. She has been working at Cooper Family Dentistry since April 2006. She works at the front desk as the Hygiene Coordinator. She confirms appointments, makes appointments and answers the phone so you will be talking to her some time. She also went to dental assistant school in April 2013 and is a Registered Dental Assistant. She has helped serve in Mission of Mercy. She would love to make an appointment for you to come in and see her!


Jodi was born in Texas, but raised in Vilonia, AR where she lives with her husband and 3 kids. She has been at Cooper Family Dentistry since June of 2013 and loves being the Treatment Coordinator for the practice. In her “quiet time”, she likes to hang out with her kids and curl up behind a good book or movie.


Kristin is a 2010 graduate of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She has been a Hygienist here at Cooper Family Dentistry since April 2012. Kristin is originally from Nashville, Arkansas. She is active in the Arkansas Dental Hygienist’s Association. Kristin enjoys being outdoors, volunteering, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Will, and two children, Blake and Andrew.


Lindsey Gentry was born in Little Rock, AR and grew up in the small town of Beebe. She graduated from Arkansas School of Dental Assisting in 2012 and started working at Cooper Family Dentistry immediately after. Lindsey is Dr. Jordan Cooper’s Assistant and Implant Coordinator. She takes great pride in her work and enjoys spending time with her coworkers. In her free time she loves to go riding in her cool red jeep wrangler. So watch out you may see her out riding around!

Lisa Gertsch

Lisa Gertsch is a graduate of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She has been married to her sweetheart Steve in 1983. They have two children, three grandchildren and are expecting their fourth in January 2015. Lisa joined Cooper Family Dentistry in August of 2010. She enjoys spending her free time with family, traveling, running, gardening and hiking.


Elizabeth “Liz” Autry was born in California and moved to Arkansas in 1976. She graduated from Jacksonville High School. She has 2 children; a son, Michael and a daughter, Stephanie. She has 3 grandchildren. She has been a Dental Assistant since 1992 and received her dental assisting degree from Pulaski Technical College. She enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family and friends. At Cooper Family Dentistry, she does lab work including making mouth guards, bleaching trays, and taking impressions to make dentures and partials. She assists chairside when needed and helps at the front desk. She has been with Cooper Family Dentistry since 2006.


Marilyn Vann is from Jacksonville and graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1972. She has been working the front desk for Dr. James Cooper since 1974. She has been married to Derrell Vann of Jacksonville for 39 years and has 4 daughters, Sarah Fields( married to Shawn Fields), Katie Berry(married to John Berry), Leanne Hern (married to Richard Hern) and Claire Vann and 2 precious granddaughters, Lily Fields and Margo Hern. She is very lucky to get to work with her sister, Carolyn Porter, who began working at the clinic in 1989. She and Derrell attend Second Baptist Church in Jacksonville.


Peggy Hartter, one of our hygienists, has been married to Ken, her best friend, since 1978. They moved to Arkansas in 2003 from Illinois when Ken started to work at Family Life Ministries. They have three married children scattered among three different states. They have given them six beautiful grandchildren. She has been practicing dental hygiene for over 30 years. She came to Cooper Family Dentistry in 2005. She has enjoyed getting to know the warm and friendly people of the south. Dr. Cooper and Dr. Jordan are very kind, patient and skilled dentists. She says it is a privilege to be a part of their team.


Venetia Sutterfield was born in Corsicana, TX and moved to Jacksonville, AR in 1995. In 2003 she graduated from Lonoke High School and she married her sweetheart, Joseph, in October of 2010! She loves to go swimming in her free time, reading and playing with her four legged kiddos. She went to Eastern College of Health Vocations for dental assisting. She has volunteered with ARMOMS and she is one of Dr. Jordan Cooper’s dental assistant, so if you have to have dental work done she might be in the room with you!
