Did you know that even if your child doesn’t have any visible teeth yet, they can still get cavities? Babies are born with their primary teeth already present in the jaw. Starting infants off with good oral care is important to building strong teeth. Starting healthy habits early will lead to a healthy mouth for years to come. A healthy diet, low in sugar, is one way to protect their teeth, as well as cleaning out babies mouths-even when they don’t have teeth yet. Remember too, that after children are a year old they should visit the dentist.
